After receiving his medical degree from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, Dr. Tran completed his General Surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco- Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then went on to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Following his training, he returned to UCSF Fresno to teach residents and fellows in the General Surgery and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery program as a clinical faculty and currently holds an academic appointment as Volunteer Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery for the world-renowned University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine.
