Phu C. Tran, MD, is a double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS). At his practice, Pctran Plastic Surgery, he helps patients throughout Plano, Texas, and the surrounding areas achieve natural-looking results aligned with their unique cosmetic goals. 

Dr. Tran’s philosophy is simple: to provide a personalized plastic surgery experience! He will work with you -- and your busy schedule -- to achieve the best result possible, tailored to you. His goal is to achieve a natural-looking result while minimizing complications. After receiving his medical degree from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, Dr. Tran completed his General Surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco- Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then went on to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine. 

Following his training, he returned to UCSF Fresno to teach residents and fellows in the general surgery and oral maxillofacial program as a clinical faculty and currently holds an academic appointment as Volunteer Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery for the world-renowned University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. 

Dr. Tran is excited to be back home in Texas and looks forward to helping patients in Plano and the surrounding North Texas area look and feel their best.
