Dr. Tran is a double Board Certified plastic surgeon. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS).
Dr. Tran’s philosophy is simple - to provide a personalized plastic surgery experience! He will work with you, and your busy schedule, to achieve the best result possible, tailored to you. His goal is to achieve a natural looking result, while minimizing complications. He does the full spectrum of Plastic Surgery, from cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, body to complex reconstructive surgery for cancer, wounds, burn, and traumatic injuries.
He received his medical degree from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco- Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then went on to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine. After training, he returned to UCSF Fresno to teach residents and fellows in the general surgery and oral maxillofacial program as a clinical faculty, and currently holds an academic appointment as Volunteer Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery for the world renowned University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine.
He returns home to Texas looks forward to helping patients in Plano and the surrounding North Texas area, to look and feel their best.
